MNIR – Muzeul National de Istorie a Romaniei participated in 3D-ICONS as a content provider.
The Romanian National Museum of History is the main museum in Romania that exhibits archaeological material culture, and performs research in conservation and restoration of archaeological objects.
The Museum supported digitisation of monuments and archaeological sites, and will provided the contextualization of the digital replicas of its exhibits. MNIR was active in providing feedback to the project as a relevant stakeholder and in assisting in the standards, thesaurus and documentation definition, as well as usability issues.
